GRAHA KARTHARI YOGA

Graha Karthari Yoga:-

  • When a Graha is hemmed between 2 Shubha (benefic) Grahas, then it has Shubha Karthari Yoga. The Graha gains extra power, strength, energy.
  • When the Graha is hemmed between 2 Papi (malefic) Grahas, then it has Papa Karthari Yoga. The Graha loses all its power, strength, energy.
  • If a Graha is hemmed between Vakri Grahas, then that Graha gives results like when it is Vakri.
  • If Guru, Shani or Rahu are hemmed between any 2 Grahas, then the Papa Karthari Yoga does not operate.
  • If any Graha is hemmed between Shani or Rahu in the front & Surya or Mangala at the back, even if the Graha is a benefic, it gives only bad results.
  • If that Graha in-between the malefic Grahas is in a weak Rashi or in weak Bhava, then it destroys Raja Yoga.

 

TARAKA – MARAKA GRAHA

  • Surya has no Maraka Graha.
    According to another school of Astrology, Shani & Rahu are Maraka for Surya.
  • Budha, Rahu, Shani & Ketu are not Maraka for Chandra.
  • Shukra, Shani & Rahu are Maraka for Mangala.
  • Chandra, Guru & Mangala are Maraka for Budha.
  • Surya, Chandra & Mangala are Maraka for Shani.
  • The rest of the Grahas are Tarakas.

UDAYA–ASTHA AMSHA OF GRAHAS

  • Whenever the Grahas are moving very near to the Surya they get combusted- is known as Astha.
  • Whenever the Grahas are moving away from Surya is known as Udaya.
  • When these Pancha Grahas – Mangala, Budha, Guru, Shukra and Shani.
  • Like Rahu moves in anticlockwise motion, then these Grahas will attain to have Vakra Gathi.
  • Whenever the Grahas has Vakra Gathi, they stay in one house for longer period.
  • When Mangala Graha has Vakra Gathi will stay in the Bhava for more than 4 to 5 months, hence is known as Kuja-stambha.
  • Whenever the Grahas are moving very near to the Surya they get combusted or Astha or called as Dagdha Graha.
  • Whenever the Grahas are moving away from Surya is known as Udaya.
  • When Chandra is in 11 degrees, Mangala is in 15 degrees, Budha is in 12 degrees, Guru is in 10 degrees, Shukra is in 7 degrees, and Shani is in 14 degrees, distance & closing towards Surya then they get Astha.
  • If they are at that distance & moving away from Surya, then they get Udaya.
  • When Budha is combusted in Eastern direction, he will rise in the West after 32 days, and then he attains the Vakra Gathi.
  • After attaining of Vakra Gathi, he becomes combust in West direction after 3 days.
  • After 16 days of combustion, he rises in the East, & 3 days later he becomes Margi (direct).

  • When Shukra is combusted in Eastern direction, he will rise in the West after 2 months.
  • 8 months later he attains Vakra Gathi.
  • After attaining of Vakra Gathi, he becomes combust in West direction after 32 days.
  • After 32 days of combustion, he rises in the East, & 22 days later he becomes Margi (direct).
  • 8 months after becoming Margi he combusts in East.

  • When Mangala is combusted in Western direction, he will rise in the East after 4 months.
  • 10 months later he attains Vakra Gathi.
  • 2 months later he becomes Margi.
  • 8 months after becoming Margi he combusts in West.

  • When Guru is combusted in Western direction, he will rise in the East after 1 month.
  • 4 months 8 days later he attains Vakra Gathi.
  • 4 months later he becomes Margi.
  • 4 months 8 days after becoming Margi he combusts in West.

  • When Shani is combusted in Western direction, he will rise in the East after 38 days.
  • 105 days later he attains Vakra Gathi.
  • 135 days later he becomes Margi.
  • 105 days after becoming Margi he combusts in West.
